About Us

Woodsense Fine Woodworking opened in Sedgwick, Maine, in 1985. We’ve always had diverse projects ranging from custom furniture pieces to a 31’ Trimaran sailboat.

In 1993, Woodsense moved to Red Feather Lakes, Colorado, and opened a new shop. We didn’t do a lot of boat work, but we completed many home cabinetry jobs, custom furniture pieces and interior trim jobs until 2001 when Clay, our master craftsman, shifted gears and worked as a paramedic for the next 15 years.

But Woodsense Fine Woodworking is back in northern Colorado…after a year-long stint working in Anacortes, Washington, where we renovated a 65’ Nordland power boat for Anacortes Marine Group.

Wherever we are and whatever the project, we offer the same customer service, skills and craftsmanship that we always have.
